bonfire night
This day and consequent 'Bonfire Night' commemorate British subject Guy Fawkes' plot to blow Parliament and King James I off the face of the planet. Although Fawkes and his fellow conspirators had their own burning desires and reasons to set their intentions ablaze, the plan was eventually foiled before its final execution when Fawkes was found out and the plot was blown to smithereens. But something about his zeal and passion has obviously resonated, as Fawkes seems to have left a lasting mark on both history and pop culture as blazes and bonfires still take place in the British Isles on this night.
according to my feng shui thing of the day.
I am not telling you to burn things or blow stuff up, BUT!!!
remember this day...
Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot,
I know of no reason
Why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
